Crazy Sam

I think Sam is a bit crazy, because he talks to a poster of his idol. Maybe it's good for him, becauase no other person listens to his problems, but talking to a poster is really strange. I've got a poster of Johnny Depp in my room and he's hot xD but i don't talk to him.. I think sam should talk to real people, so his problems could get solved..

    At the beginning of nick hornby´s book told sam that his mum isn´t very caring and interested in his sons life. Thats why he speaks now to a poster because he hasn´t got anyone to talk about personal things. He indeed told that its good speaking with rabbit but i can´t imagine that rabbit really minds sam´s problems..

    It's better to have a real friend to talk about your problems but Sam has nobody to talk with so it's good for him to talk to a poster. (page 12,line 8-10:"Maybe that was why my mum bought me the poster, so that I'd have somebody else to talk to. the talking back started soon after I'd read his book, Hawk-Occupation: Skateboarder.)
